Terms of Service

Welcome to WildStride. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WildStride's website, mobile applications, educational content, online store, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
WildStride, LLC ("WildStride," "we," "us," or "our") provides premium outdoor education, membership services, e-commerce, and related offerings.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Accounts
To access certain features (including mastery paths, membership benefits, and purchases), you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms.
3. Membership & Subscriptions
- Membership Benefits: WildStride membership provides unlimited mastery path access, exclusive gear discounts, free shipping on all orders (contiguous 48 US states), and other perks. Our first 1000 members receive Founding Member status at $49/year with a 2-year rate lock. Standard membership is $99/year after Founding Member spots are filled. - Automatic Renewal: Unless canceled, memberships automatically renew at the then-current rate.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Refunds: Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
4. Mastery Paths & Content
- License: WildStride grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access educational videos and materials for personal, non-commercial use.
- Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display mastery path content without our prior written consent.
- Instructor Content: Some content is provided by third-party instructors. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in such materials.
5. Gear Sales & E-Commerce
- Orders: By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase products under these Terms. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
- Pricing & Payment: Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are subject to change. Payment must be made at checkout.
- Shipping: We ship within the United States. Free shipping for signed-in accounts on orders over $98 (contiguous 48 states). Members receive free shipping on all orders. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories: free shipping on orders over $198. Some oversized or heavy items may be excluded from free shipping. International shipping is not available at this time. Delivery dates are estimates only. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. Refunds do not include original shipping costs.
- Returns: Unless otherwise noted, returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused products in original condition. Certain items (e.g., final sale, consumables) may not be returnable.
- Warranties: Product warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer. WildStride disclaims all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Affiliate & Third-Party Experiences
We may promote or link to third-party guided trips, workshops, or services. WildStride is not the operator of these experiences and is not responsible for their performance. Your participation is at your own risk and subject to the provider's terms.
7. Mobile Terms of Service
The WildStride mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by WildStride, LLC ("WildStride", "we", or "us"). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions ("Mobile Terms"). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to WildStride's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of WildStride through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with WildStride. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +1 (833) 653-0586 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other WildStride mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Services—including videos, text, graphics, logos, and software—is owned by WildStride or its licensors and protected under copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use our trademarks or content without express permission.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services.
- Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." WildStride makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:
- Accuracy or reliability of educational content.
- Fitness or safety of products or experiences.
- Availability or uninterrupted operation of the Services.
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept those risks.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WildStride and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including personal injury, property damage, or loss of profits, arising out of your use of the Services or participation in outdoor activities. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to WildStride in the past twelve months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WildStride, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or participation in activities promoted through the Services.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Arbitration: Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
- Waiver of Jury Trial & Class Action: You waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
- Venue: Arbitration shall take place in Charleston, South Carolina, unless both parties agree otherwise.
14. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the full agreement between you and WildStride.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain valid.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. WildStride may assign its rights without restriction.
